Irish Jesuits International is active throughout Africa, Asia and the Middle East collaborating with partners in Ethiopia, Kenya, Lebanon, Malawi, Nigeria, South Sudan, Syria, Uganda and Zambia.

The Jesuit Centre for Ecology and Development (JCED) runs a programme in Lilongwe and Kasungu which provides farming communities in rural villages with the skills to protect their livelihoods from the effects of climate change.

The Jesuit Eastern Africa Province supports Radio Kwizera - a community radio station - to broadcast on health issues, to educate and inform listeners and therefore help to prevent illness.
